We are a native Texan family owned and run farm 30 minutes outside of Austin in the Taylor/ Thrall area.
We believe that for too long our local breweries had to pay too much for hops by having to ship from up north and with no access to fresh hops from the bine like northern breweries have.
While our hops are being established, we are growing some of the hottest peppers around. Peppers like reaper, fatalii, butch T scorpion and habaneros will make some of the hottest sauces you are daring enough to try.
We custom tailor our grow to provide breweries with what they want instead of what they can get. Our farm grows many different varieties of hops with consistent alpha acid content year round without the breweries needing to wait for next season to see what they will get. Using greenhouses we are controlling our grow with precision that an unpredictable season does not have. By using greenhouses we also conserve water, don't use chemical fertilizers and prevent pests from ravishing our hops. Our process uses natural means to combat pests so our customers can rest at ease that the product they are getting is of the highest quality.
Once you become a customer you can plan ahead for the hops you want for that new recipe you want to brew. We are also devloping a breeding program to produce new hops varieties that brewers can experiment with. The possibilities are endless.
